World Environment Day is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness and promoting action to protect our environment, celebrated annually on June 5. The goal of this program is to highlight environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and the loss of biodiversity.
“Our Land, Our Future” should be the guiding principle for everyone on Earth said Principal Mrs Purvika Solanki. The theme for World Environment Day 2024 is “Ecosystem Restoration.” Our ecosystems—forests, wetlands, oceans—are essential for life but are under significant threat from human activities.
At White Lotus International School, we shared simple yet impactful aphorisms like – “Keep Nature Safe, Keep Life Alive.” to emphasize the importance of sustaining nature and promoting green practices, like planting saplings to provide shade and combat global warming:
Our students committed not only to planting saplings every month but also raise awareness among family and friends to reduce pollution and conserve water.
